Digital Content Development Manager

Purpose of the Role

# This position exists in order to develop new initiatives in terms of digitization in competence related deliverables, with a mission to successfully leverage the continous learning oppurtunities through various means of online platforms.
# Managing & driving the development of digitized training aids for enhancing the BS VI know how and more importantly proliferating the knowledge through mass media platform for maximum reach

Experience

10 years of Automobile Service Experience in Aftermarket ranging from Technical / Training/ Diagnosis Expert/ Field Services related to Passenger car vehicles. Good track record in the earlier organisation and street smart approach is recommended.

Business Understanding

Strong understanding of Automotive basics especially in the electrical / electronics and diagnosis concepts. Up to date with the current trends in the automotive technology and allso having a deep insight onto the training / dealer requirements as far as the diagnosis of field issues are concerned. Should be able to have a strong sense of communication with the external partners and should have an exposure to vendor management, channel management and Team management 

Area of Responsibility

PLANING & EXECUTION - 

Content Framework creation
Engage with external vendor for content creation & execution
Walkthrough on the topics and detailed explanation of the deliverables with the SME
Creation of the entire digitization sequencing ( end to end process flow)
Engage with Regional RCDC trainers for ensuring the handholding on the topics developed
Guide vendors and their team to align with the company’s organizational goal.
Secure the release timeline with the external vendor

STRATEGY MAKING & DRIVING BUSINESS REGIONAL TEAM - 

Development of experiential learning material for enhanced retention/ easy recall purposes.
Secure the availability of all the key resources (Material / content sourcing)
Chart out & drive action plan basis the delivery
To drive plans for engaging the dealer community to stay focussed on leraning
Creation of Digital Training Techniques/ aids in promoting the latest Technology/ field fix solution
Ensure the reach to all the stakeholders in the appropriate form 
Work with respective identified dealers/ suppliers for implementing pilot training modules for building the competencies for Aftermarket.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES & TRAINING - 

 To scan the environment for best practices, latest developments in competence digitization space and evaluate options for integration with VECV’s competence framework
 To capture the dealer requirement & create digital solutions 
 Guide & equip the vendors with the right input / information for effective conceptulization of the modules
Roll out of digitization initiatives in alignment with the competence framework
Guide the content development team in areas of electrical, electronics and advanced diagnostics

PROCESS ADHERENCE - 
 Understanding the needs of stake holders and creation and adherence of the system processes.
 Automatic tracking/ generation of  Technician reports, presentation, feedback analysis etc. and other critical competency parameter
 Ensure availability of real time tracking of Technician competency rating & tracking with respect to the job role

Exploring New Avenues for Proliferation - 

 Leverage existing IT platforms for proliferation fo Knowledge
 Identify improvement points in the existing system for maximum utilization
 Innovative Process creation to Enhance the usage of the end user 
 Work with cross functional team to get the desired output in launching the LMS
