Role: Regional Parts Manager 

Function:: S&M - Aftermarket - Parts Retail

Reporting into:  Head - Parts Retail

Level: DM/Manager

Purpose of the Role

The Position exists in order to meet the targeted Parts Penetration for retail business in the assigned region and to handle the distributor locations assigned under the territory to meet the overall Sales targets for the company within the limits of overall business plan.

Span of Control

  • Direct reportees: 2 - 3
  • Indirect reportees: NA
     

Education

B.E/B.Tech/ MBA (Marketing preferable)

Experience

Min. 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in automobile/ Auto ancilliary industries/ lubricants

Business Understanding

  • Understanding of Competition
  • Market Knowledge on Product, Price, Promotion and Network
  • Team Management
  • Financial Knowledge on Balance sheet and P&L
  • Marketing Activities ( ATL/BTL)

Area of Responsibility

Sales Target Achievement

Monitor and Ensure the Target Achievement of Parts & Lubes for his assigned areas. Proper review mechanism to be established for the Subordinate and the distributor to ensure the proper monitoring. In order to achieve: Desired Market share in the assigned territory of operation and ensure the overall profitability of Distributor and Company.

Network Development

To ensure the proper network across territory for distribution of Parts & Lubes. To have proper strategy for Blind spot attention. In order to achieve: Proper Reach of Parts & Lubes across the territory and have proper availability of parts for Customers.

Mechanic Registration and Activation

To ensure addition of new Mechanics in Connect program with target of at least 10% increase from last year and also to have activation level of mechanics registered in Connect portal to minimum of 70% for the assigned territory. In order to achieve: Proper engagement with mechanics and ensure availability of mechanics across territory and encourage them for usage of Genuine parts & Lubes.

Opening & Development of EGP Shoppe

To ensure proper monitoring of EGP Shoppe and ensure at least 30% Business contribution from the Shoppe. Ensuring Proper Brand refresh of the Shoppe and maintaining the feasibility of the Shoppe. In order to achieve: Ensure achievement of Parts & Lubes target and also to have proper visibility and availability of Genuine Parts & Lubes.

Distributor EOR Compliance

To ensure proper Warehouse Efficiency through Service Index, Parts Availability, Good Delivery to customer and proper warehouse maintenance. In order to achieve: have good customer Experience through availability & Timely delivery of parts & Lubes.
