Purpose of the Role

 

The position exists in order to liaison with sales and production team to make availability of right vehicles at right time with the objective of achieving sales volumes within the limits of company policy.

Education

 

BE/Btech, MBA

Experience

 

10-12 years of relevant experience

Business Understanding

 

Understanding of competition and market trends,Inventory management,Planning process,Dealer operations,Sales process,Knowledge on Commercial aspects,Sales promotions and tactical strategy.

Area of Responsibility

 

1. Indent Planning & execution

Twice a month get the sales inputs for sales plan and arrive at required indents for the month considering inventory levels of each FERT code, average sales, new model implementation, and dealer stock and bulk order requirements. Follow up with production team for supply plan adherence and provide inputs to sales team on availability of vehicles and ensure sales target for the month is achieved.

In order to achieve monthly sales targets, need to assess sales requirement and inventory levels and arrive at accurate indent plan. Accuracy in the plan will result in streamlining production requirement and can minimize supply and sales lose.

2.  Capitalization process


To redefine capitalization process so as to improve efficiency in handling of demo and trial activities this will result in establishing CVP and product performance.

In order to improvise the process, we need to have expertise knowledge in handling fleet operations and logistics management.

3. Project Management & Live trial vehicles

To take up projects in sales and backend process so as to to improve system and process and create value in the system. 
Projects in line for this FY:
1) Ensure Vehicles Registration capitalization as per SBP 
2) Capitalisation process improvement
3) Phase 2 - Capitalisation vehicle administartion by external agency
4) RGP vehicle process improvisation & controls
5) Retail based invoicing process to reduce dealer stock.

4. MIS Reports, analysis & adherence

Monitor and prepare MIS report and analysis as required by management
1) Create and develop sales and analysis report which will act as input and supports  management to take strategic and tactical decisiosn
2) Provide receommendation to management based on parst trends and data
3) Provide sales and production tea with releent information and forecast
