Key Account Manager

Purpose of the Role

Driving the relationship with defined Key customers, ensuring their satisfaction & making them ETB's brand ambassador. Achieving the share of business and profitability targets.

Span of Control


B.Tech , MBA (Preferably)


12-15 years in sales and aftermarket dept of Automobile industry

Business Understanding

Understanding of the customer expectations and satisfaction drivers, vendor management, channel management, Team management 

Area of Responsibility

Responsible for PAN India KEY Accounts: - 1. To set the Account wise objective for the current financial year and develop the tools to achieve the same.
2. Driving a CFT involving PD / PMG / AM to support Key customers.

Planning internal marketing calendars of Promotions: - Activations and New Product introduction and aligning the same with internal stakeholdersand ensuring implementation through Relationship Mangers Team


Ensuring Customer Satisfaction of Key Accounts: - 1. Managing RMs in order to maximize the customer satisfaction.
2. Collaborating with senior management team when required in order to smoothened process for key accounts.
3. Responsible & authorised to resolve any issues of key customers by providing necessary support to zonal team.


Engaing with Key Customers: - 1. Ensure priority delivery of the verhicles to key customers.
2. Develop Customer-wise plan for progressively increasing engagement with the customer.
3. Understand product usage pattern; operating costs and revenue model and support the customer by providing value propositions.
4. Understand customers newly arising needs and priorities proactively and involve the support system to recommend a product or a package
