Role: Service Engineer - Diagnostics

Function: Product Support

Reporting into: Section Head - Diagnostics

Level: M2

Purpose of the Role

This position exists in order to secure the development of diagnostic content & fault trees for All projects including BS6 projects & also to handle software change management. In addition to that will be taking care of New development & strategies for the best innovative solutions for diagnostics. Development of new diagnostic tools and break ou harnesses for an electrical inspection.

Education

Diploma in automobile, mechanical Advanced diploma in tool and die making

Experience

• Relevant Experience of 0-8 Years in automobile industry

Business Understanding

• Commercial vehicles
• Construction Equipment’s
• AM experience in previous Organization & Automotive electronics and diagnostics tools 

Area of Responsibility

Diagnostic & Wiring Manual development

Development of Diagnostic Trouble Code Manual  / Quick resolution tips for AM. Strategize on-time project delivery, Secure first-time-right information, Motivate team members and get the best out of each team member. Ensure complete mapping of offering w.r.t. product and align the AM team accordingly. Chart out & drive action plan basis past feedback from Technicians and AM team members. Secure required support & approvals from superiors to execute project deliveries, Anticipating potential risk, and making mitigating plans, In order to attain the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Guided Troubleshooting development for Eicher Architecture 

Development Guided diagnostic Authoring, Creation of Authoring guidelines and standards, Creation of handbook, Gradex-Platform authoring, and library creation. In order to resolve the issues on time.

Techtool content development & Testing 

Represent PSDS (Product support diagnostic system) in diagnostic development road map conclusion with PD (Product Development), AMT GTT(  After Market Technology Group truck technology). Compile needed specifications, information for the development of DTCs, Tests, and Operations. Diagnostic manual content development and sign off with PD, diagnostic manual content sign off with AMT GTT. Creation of virtual methods and secure the tools needed for guided diagnostics.  Carry out diagnostic tool validation & verification along with AMT GTT & PD.
