Purpose of the Role

To ensure ontime claim registration & execution of channel partners / RDC's claims by proper analysis & settlment with transporter,Insurence and Finance at VEPDC, with an objective of timly closure and settlement of claims and customer satisfaction, within the limit of agreed policy and financial guidelines.

Education

Minimum Requirements:

Post Graduation

Experience

Relevant Experience of 7- 8 Years

Business Understanding

  • Understanding  the warehousing  operation
  • Supply chain
  • Spare parts in the manufacturing industry and in the automobile sector

Area of Responsibility

Claim analysis for shortage, excess, wrong supply, mfg. defect and damage

Ensuring timely registration of claims received from Channel partners & RDC's. Overall claim analysis and its closure, with major emphasis on - No of claims/values, ageing & lead-times, bucket analyses. Coordination with RDC's for its timely claim settlements. In order to ensure timely registration of claims.

SRN / Revers STO & GR against accepted claim /1180 stock monitoring

Review with the team on the pending cases. Accepted claim settlement in a system for credit to channel partners as per define process and coordination with operation team for its disposal action.In order to ensure timely availability of stock.

Insurance Claims Recovery 

Coordination with Insurence company for settlement. Ensure Channel partners Insurance Claims recovery in line with Claims SLA/Insurance policy and share the settlement updations with channel partners through means of followups with external & internal agencies. Adherence to Insurance policy parameters such as URN generation, on-time survey, claim document submission for channel partners for VEPDC & RDCs. In order to ensure recovery of insurance claims.

Transporter Recovery 

Coordination with Transporters for timely claim recovery. Coordination with Finance for posting and credit to Channel partners for the transit claims recovery in line with claims SLA / transporters SLA for VEPDC & RDCs, which includes recoveries on Transit claims recovery on STOs and Invoices . To ensure timely credit to Channel Partners.

Claim corrective action SRN related /Timely preparation/submission of MIS (PI-9 Claims MIS along with_ weekly claim report)

Review with concern department regarding error type as well as seeking preventive and corrective action. Preparing corrective action for SRN related to stock correction. Generation of MIS To ensure stock availability.
